Makeup Addiction Cosmetics Meadow Palette Review

Hi Loves!

So once again I have no willpower…but in my defense I got this baby VERY reduced on Black Friday! I have been eyeing up Makeup Addiction Cosmetics products for a super long time and it really would have been rude not to (or that’s what I tell myself anyway…).

For those of you that don’t know, Makeup Addiction Cosmetics is a cruelty-free makeup brand, all of their palettes (both eyeshadows and highlighters), pigments, glitters, highlighters and lashes are vegan. The products are made in the UK and accessible from their website and Beauty Bay, but if you are an International babe then you can find all of their global retailers on their website.

Above are swatches of the palette, please excuse the poor quality photo!

There are 3 mattes and 5 shimmers/metallics.

What do I think?

Starting at the beginning…

The packaging is made from a good quality cardboard that feels sturdy, while the colours and design on the packaging are both beautiful and very individual. There is a strong magnetic close that holds the lid down well. The eyeshadow pan size is large in comparisson to the majority of other eyeshadow palettes which is an awesome plus for value!

The metallic shadows are gorgeous, they have a very silky, almost creamy, consistency and provide intense pigmentation, I applied them to my eyes using my finger.

The matte shadows are also very silky and blendable. They had a lovely soft formula and good pigmentation. Another plus, there was pretty much no kickup at all!

I can definitely say that I think the shadows in this palette are gorgeous, I love the range of colours that it has. There is the perfect crease shade as well as colours to deepen the look, not to mention the amazing shimmers that will go perfectly on the lid as a pop of colour.

The look I created using Sweet Peach, Dusk and Crushed Blueberry in the transition, with Poison Ivy all over the lid in a very rounded cut crease.
